Argentina · Est. for the U.S. Market
Zorro Negro Imports is a U.S. wine importer — built to invest in the American market and turn great Argentine wine into lasting brands.
Explore Our WinesEvery wine authentically represents its grape variety and origin.
Producers with something genuine to say, and wines worth talking about.
An outstanding experience relative to its price, every time.
Zorro Negro Imports was created with a very clear objective: to invest more in the U.S. market and build wine brands for the long term.
We currently represent carefully selected wines from Argentina, with the vision of eventually developing a broader portfolio of exceptional wines from different regions around the world. Our philosophy is simple: varietally correct wines, exceptional producers, great stories and the best possible price.
Our goal isn't simply to import wine — our goal is to build brands. We work closely with our distributor partners, helping them sell, supporting their sales teams, developing accounts and remaining involved from the producer all the way to the final customer.
Owner & General Manager · Veteran-Owned & Operated
For more than seven years James has been tasting his way through Argentina — winery by winery, vineyard by vineyard, vintage after vintage — looking for the wines that deserve a place on an American table.
That work is the filter behind every label in this portfolio: hundreds of wines tasted, a handful selected. What makes the cut has to be varietally honest, consistently made, and clearly better than what its price would suggest.
A nationally represented wine portfolio across the U.S., featuring exceptional producers from Argentina and beyond.
We don't believe our job ends when the wine leaves the winery. Present in the market, supporting sales teams, visiting accounts at least twice a year.
Carefully selected wines from Argentina, each with its own identity — brought to the U.S. market by James Dykes and Zorro Negro Imports. Open each brand's own page for its full presentation, story and wines.

Argentina · Origen & Lunático
A selection of varietals that pays tribute to the voice that conquered the world, capturing the eternal essence of Carlos Gardel in every glass.
“The traveler who flees, sooner or later stops his journey. To return, because one always returns to their first love.”

Our wine lines tell different moments of the same story. Like a song that transforms from its first note to its final chord, each bottle is a tribute to the eternal elegance of Carlos Gardel.
It represents our purest and most vibrant expression. It is wine in its natural state, where the fruit is the protagonist and freshness defines its character. A tribute to the roots, to the starting point where the magic of each varietal is born.
It is the result of patience and time. Its passage through the barrel grants it that characteristic depth and smoothness that invites reflection. A wine of complex nuances, designed for those seeking depth in every toast.
Origen de Carlos Gardel arises from the very heart of the vineyard, where the land beats with strength and the grape expresses itself without artifices. Its youthful profile offers a genuine intensity, fluid textures, and a fruity fragrance that immediately awakens the senses.
“A wine created to celebrate the essential, to toast to genuine encounters and the joy of sharing the path.”

The Alacrán finds its place where few can survive, developing the elixir that makes it strong and great.

We work on a perfect combination of Terroir, Varietals, Geographic Zones, technology and the Magic of the Winemaker. We combine the best grapes from Mendoza, Argentina, coming from varied areas optimal for the development of high-quality, high-altitude wines.
We apply advanced technology so the natural and delicate fruit is not damaged — a perfect conjunction of what the earth gives us and the skill of man in the search for constant improvement, making the most of the virtues of this great Mendocino Oasis.

The most important thing for making high-quality wines is to have good fruit. We are producers, owners of the matrix from which we produce and manage traceability. We have selected and genetically controlled vineyards in different geographical areas of Mendoza, where their DNA squeezes out the best of each terroir.
Valle de Uco, Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, Rivadavia offer the winemaker the possibility of selecting the best fruit — the land and the vineyards where our story began.
From Instinto to Gran Alacrán, each tier has its own character, terroir and story.

“Reason is not enough… animal instinct is needed to discover the fruit expression of these varieties.”

The legacy of a life of dedication, now served in a glass.

Excellence is the result of unwavering discipline. Just as in high-level competition, where every movement counts and the mind must dominate its surroundings, this wine is born from absolute respect for natural cycles and resilience in the face of the harshness of high altitudes.
We have sought to capture that mysticism of overcoming: the strength of one who has known how to rise and the elegance of one who knows their purpose. It is a noble specimen, born from deep stone and intense sun, created for those who understand that great milestones require time, patience, and total dedication to one's own essence.

There is a special mysticism in the silence of the countryside, one that only those who have learned to listen to the passage of time truly understand. Far from stadiums and ovations, true character is forged in patience.
Alongside an elite winemaking team, we have selected micro-regions where soil and extreme altitude demand the most from the vine. Every row is manually supervised — technology and artisanal craft converging into a faithful reflection of its origin.
Born in Tandil, Argentina, on September 23, 1988, Juan Martín del Potro turned professional in 2005 and became one of the most respected — and beloved — figures in modern tennis, known as much for his thunderous forehand as for the resilience he showed through years of injury, surgery and comeback.
A Malbec blend built around resilience and character, from Juan Martín del Potro.
“We celebrate not only the destination reached, but the will to rise and keep moving forward. Cheers to those who believe in the magic of effort.”
